Mattia Limone is an Artificial Intelligence Research Fellow at the Innovation & Digital Transformation operational unit of Leonardo Electronics. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Salerno, followed by his master’s degree in Computer Science with focus on Data Science and Machine Learning from the same university. During his studies, he did two study periods abroad at Polytech Aix-Marseille and at University of Ljubljana.
His research activities mainly involve Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a specific focus on language models, and Computer Vision, particularly for small object and anomaly
detection.
