Maurizio Lazzari, a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Bari, is a Senior Researcher, geologist, and geoarchaeologist at the Institute of Cultural Heritage Sciences (ISPC). He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the National Research Council (CNR) and of the Institute Council. He is an adjunct professor of Geoarchaeology and Pedology at the University of Salento – School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage in Lecce. He is a member of the Teaching Board of the Doctorate in Agricultural, Forestry, and Food Sciences and Technologies at the Department of Agricultural, Forestry, Food, and Environmental Sciences (DAFE) of the University of Basilicata. He is the ISPC contact for coordinating activities within the Faro Italia Network and related relations with the Venice Office of the Council of Europe. He is the author of 180 scientific products.
