Michelangelo Bottesini, born in 1973, has a degree in Economics from Bocconi University and a Master in Business Administration from MIP-GSOM of the Milan Polytechnic in 1999. He has 20 years of experience in Mobile Telecommunications where he worked from 1999 to 2018 first in Vodafone, then in ‘3’ and finally Windtre, covering increasing roles and responsibilities as Director of Product and Service Development, then Director of Supply Chain, Credit Management and Fraud Prevention.
From January 2019 in TeamSystem (Market Leader in electronic invoicing and management software systems for Companies and Professionals) with the role of Director Procurement and Credit Management. From February 2021 to January 2024 he headed Teamsystem’s Fintech Business Unit, the area that offers Fintech solutions dedicated to professionals and SMEs on three specific product lines: Payments, Supply Chain Financing (through an SGR and a Credit Brokerage company) and Rating and Scoring – with Modefinance (Europe’s first Fintech Rating Agency).
Since February 2024 he has had international responsibility for the Administration Finance and Procurement area of Teamsystem, which is currently present with subsidiaries in Spain, Turkey and France. He has held and still holds Board Member positions for both unregulated and regulated companies: Payment Institution, Credit Brokerage companies, SGR, Rating Agency. Since December 2022 he has been on the Board of the APSP – Association of Payment Service Providers. Since April 2024 he has been President of ItaliaFintech, the main association of Fintech entrepreneurs in Italy.
