Paolo Sellari, holder of the teachings of “Political and Economic Geography”, “Geoeconomics” and “Geopolitics and Infrastructure Security” at the Department of Political Sciences, Sociology and Communication of the Sapienza University of Rome, has been Director of the Master in “Geopolitics” since 2014. and Global Security”. Graduated in Political Sciences at Sapienza University and PhD in Political Geography at the University of Trieste, his research activity focuses above all on issues concerning the geopolitics and geoeconomics of economic macro-aggregates; in particular the geography of transport and communications. With Laterza he published “Geopolitics of transport” and in 2019 the manual “Spaces and Powers”. He collaborated with the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia – Treccani and with the publisher De Agostini for various encyclopedic entries. Prof. Sellari is also editor of the “Bulletin of the Italian Geographical Society” and member of the scientific committee of “Geopolitics”.
