Raffaello Matarazzo (MA, PhD) is Head of International Affairs & Business Support, Sub Saharan Africa and Americas at ENI, in Italy, in charge of political scenarios and risks, business advocacy and relations with International Financial Institutions. Before this position he has worked in Africa as Senior Regional Public Affairs Manager. Before joining Eni, Raffaello Matarazzo served as senior analyst at the International Affairs Institute (2003-2012), senior advisor to the Italian Parliament (Foreign Affairs Committee, 2006-2008) assistant to the European Parliament (Brussels, 2002). In his Academic activity Raffaello Matarazzo has taught Strategic Studies at the University of Perugia and European Politics at the US St. John’s University (2009-2013). Raffaello Matarazzo holds a Bachelor’s degree with honor in Political Philosophy, a MA and a Ph.D. in European Affairs from La Sapienza University, Rome.
