Sabrina Greco

Researcher at the Italian National Research Council, Institute of Heritage Science (CNR-ISPC), Ph.D. in “Demography and Economy of Great Geographical Areas”. Her research fields are: relation between population, environment and development in Mediterranean countries and Sudan, analysis of the human mobility and dynamics of development, enhancement of human capital in societies in transition. She also held the position of Principal Investigator of the project “A new Sudan through culture, technology and innovation” (SudanInnovation) 2020-2021 and of the project “Innovation in society: training paths and human capital enhancement in Sudan” (INSO) 2017-2019.

In 2014, as a senior foreign researcher, she won an iPOPs fellowship (Individuals, Populations, Societies) at “Laboratories of Excellence” of the Institute for Demographic Studies or INED in Paris, offered by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

She has been awarded with research fellowships at “Centre d’Études et de Documentation Économiques, Juridiques et Sociales” (CEDEJ – Khartoum, 2011), INED (Paris, 2013) and an extensive scientific experience in Morocco at Mohammed V – Agdal University.
