Silvia Foschi

Architect, PhD in History of Architecture, with university teaching experience in Venice, Milan and Harvard, he is responsible for Intesa Sanpaolo’s Cultural Activities. He is responsible for implementing the initiatives of Progetto Cultura, the multi-year programme of cultural activities and projects directly managed and supervised by Art, Culture and Heritage / Chief Sustainability Officer Governance Area, Intesa Sanpaolo. The areas of intervention range from the protection, conservation and valorisation of the archival and historical-artistic heritage owned by the Group, to the organisation of temporary exhibitions at the Intesa Sanpaolo museum system – the Gallerie d’Italia in Milan, Naples, Turin and Vicenza – and the commitment to the national public heritage, which takes the form of Restituzioni, a programme of restorations of works of art belonging to archaeological sites, public museums, diocesan museums, churches and places of worship, in Italy and in the foreign territories where the Group is present; a project that, from 1989 to the present day, has seen the realisation of a valorisation and restoration project that, since 1989 to date, in 20 editions, has saved from degradation and “returned” more than 2,200 artistic artefacts to the community.
