Stefano Da Empoli

Economist, he is president of I-Com, Institute for Competitiveness, an independent think tank that he founded way back in 2005. His interests concern the organization and regulation of the main markets, starting with the energy sector and other services network (but with frequent forays elsewhere). He teaches political economy and economic policy at Roma Tre University. He is the scientific director of the La Scossa Association. He is a member of the scientific committee of various institutions and initiatives. In the past, he directed the Observatory on Energy Policy of the Einaudi Foundation. He has many publications on industrial economics and market regulation topics.

He is the author of “The economy of Chat GPT. Between false fears and real risks” (Egea).
