Consultant and former Commander of the 3rd Division Logistics Command of the Air Force
The Gen. Div. (r.) Vincenzo Falzarano was born in Latina on 5 March 1961, after obtaining his Scientific High School diploma, he attended the Aeronautical Academy of Pozzuoli (NA) in the years 1982 – 1986, with the course “Borea IV”. In 1986, he was assigned to the Air Staff at the Office of Statistics and Operations Research. During this period he held numerous positions in the sector including the Section Chief “Operations Research”. In 1996 he was assigned to NATO at the AWACS Component in Germany (Geilenkirchen) holding the position of head of the “pre and post mission” activity where he participated in the operational activities of the Component for the Ex-Yugoslavia theater and subsequently for Kosovo. In 1999 he was transferred to the 2° Department of the 3rd Division of the Logistics Command as responsible for coordinating activities in the management software sector. In 2002 he was assigned to the Command and Control Office of the 3rd Division of the Logistics Command dealing with both Command and Control and Tactical Data Links. In 2003, he attended the Higher Joint Staff Course (ISSMI), obtaining a Master’s degree in “International Strategic Military Sciences”. On 1 January 2009 he was promoted to the rank of Colonel and assumed the role of Commander of the 2° Technical Communications Department of Bari until 6 October 2011. Assigned to the Defense General Staff as Head of the Office of Command and Control Systems and ISTAR. In this role he represented, as national delegate of the CISTAR sector, the SMD in the various NATO and international fora. In 2014 he was transferred to the 4° Department of the Air Force General Staff as Head of the C4ISTAR Office. During this period he was a national delegate to the Steering Committee of the NATO AirC2IS Committee and the NATO Board Airborne Early Warning Program. In 2016, he attended the Institute of Advanced Strategic Defense Studies earning his II Level Master’s degree in “Global Strategy and Security”. From 22 August 2016 he assumed the role of Commander of the 4th Telecommunications and Air Defense Systems and Flight Assistance Brigade of Borgo Piave. On 1 January 2017 he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General. On 06 February 2020 he was transferred to the 3rd Division Logistics Command and takes on the role of Head of the 2° Department (Automated Systems) and Deputy Commander of the 3rd Division Logistics Command. On 22 September 2020, he assumed the role of Commander of the Logistics Command 3rd Division and maintained the secondary role of Head of the 2° Department. On March 20, 2024, he leaves the position of Commander of the Logistics Command 3rd Division and active service to transit the Reserve. General Vincenzo Falzarano is married to Mrs. Susanna and has two children Alessia and ValerioTitoli di Studio Diploma of Scientific Maturity; Diploma of Statistics at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome. Degree in Actuarial Statistical Sciences from La Sapienza University of Rome; Degree in Aeronautical Military Sciences from Federico II University of Naples. Degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste.
