Marta Dassù is Senior Advisor Europe for The Aspen Institute. She was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy from November 2011 to February 2014. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Leonardo Finmeccanica, Trevi Finanziaria, Eni Enrico Mattei Foundation and Vice President of the Center for American Studies in Rome. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the IAI (Istituto Affari Internazionali) and of the Council for the United States and Italy. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the European Policy Center in Brussels and a member of the scientific committee of the LUISS School of Government in Rome. She regularly collaborates with the Italian newspaper La Stampa and is the author of various books and essays.
